The client of Private Detective Bolton is an elderly man who is currently in a care home after his grandson had been reported missing. The client had been living with his grandson as he would help his grandfather with little things around the house like cooking and getting him up the stairs. It was first suspected as a missing person when the client went to bed one night and found that his grandson would not come to his aid as he usually did every morning or when he was needed. After forty-eight hours the client was able to report his grandson as a missing person to the police. The client could not think of a reason for why his grandson would disappear or possibly be kidnapped. The client had noticed that one week before the disappearance he was fairly quiet and was not eating or sleeping as much as he used to.
We told the client that there is a possibility that we would be able to find his grandson. The client told us that the last time he saw him was when his grandson assisted him into his bedroom at nine o'clock and was wearing comfortable clothes like grey tracksuit bottoms and a baggy white t-shirt. The next morning his car was still in the drive. We were able to help by investigating the client's house and the grandson's room. We picked up bits and pieces around the house that might tell us where he could have disappeared to. We interviewed people around the town and eventually were able to find the grandson. He explained he was just paying off some money he owed and did tell anyone as he felt ashamed. He travelled by bus as a car was to obvious, he is now reunited with his grandfather and family.
